I was more surprised by the buried alive FBI chick! However, I think Ryan will figure out where she is some how and save her. I was kind of sad to see Jacob go, but I wasn't really that surprised with Emma as she is super psycho. I was really glad that couple was able to get away. These episodes are intense. I'm sad the finale is so soon!
I knew once Jacob told her that he didn't want to die for Joe and that he thought they should leave, I knew it was not going to end well for him. Too bad as I actually liked him for the most part.
The FBI chick being buried alive was super intense at the end. I am sure they will find her just in the nick of time, but it's a good diversion to keep the FBI focused on finding her and not going after Joe and his remaining followers. However, I am pretty sure next week's finale will not end well for Joe.
I was sad that Jacob had to die. I liked him and thought that keeping him around would have provided some great tension for next season. I hope the find Debra alive. I know they buried her to make Ryan choose between finding her and finding Joe and Claire. If Joe dies I wonder what that would mean for a second season. Can Emma could command a cult?
I told my husband last night (when we watched it) that this show is stressful, because everyone is so stupid. Claire should have killed Joe when she had the chance (after hitting him with the wine bottle) and the FBI should not have put everyone in the auditorium and then just wander around looking for "suspicious" people.
I do wonder how they will get the show to continue.

Their stupidity this season almost makes me want to watch a 2nd season. Maybe they'll be better? Some of their writing/ stories have just been STUPID.
I think the idea of MOlly could be interesting. They haven't done ANYTHING w/ her (well, that we know of...) and she could be a 2nd season person, along w/ Emma.
Has anyone noticed that they keep on stabbing people in the stomach? DH and I are so pissed about it because that's the least efficient way to kill someone. We both cheered when Jacob actually got stabbed in a productive area like the neck. Maybe we just have sick minds.
I don't want Debra to die. I feel like her story hasn't been flushed out enough yet.

SPOILER ALERT!!!
I read somewhere (can not remember where) that Kevin Bacon was upset that they were killing Claire and Debra off this season. He was upset because he did not have any control over the writing and outcome and hated that they were killing them off. Whether that is really true or not, I guess we will have to wait and see next week.

I'll be curious. I have a HARD time believing that he'd really give away the ending. AND that he wouldn't be in trouble for having said that!

True True, but he has given away details on his twitter in the past and gotten in trouble.
Really? They'd kill both? I'd like to really know more about Debra too, they just scratched the surface with her and her own story, but that was in the beginning. That, and what would happen to Joey?
