The end scene with Jim and Pam had me crying like a baby.
Also, I read this interview with Mindy Kaling
"Earlier that evening, The Mindy Project star made an appearance on The Late Show with David Letterman. Though she headlines her own FOX comedy, the actress will reprise her role as customer service representative Kelly Kapoor when The Office airs it series finale May 16. When asked about a possible cameo from Steve Carell, who left the show in 2011 after seven seasons, Kaling kept quiet.
"To be perfectly honest, I was drunk out of my mind when I shot the finale. I couldn't tell who was there," the TV star joked. "Here's the thing, Dave -- I don't want to lie to you because I respect you and love you, but I also signed a contract. I don't want to be sued by NBC."
I know there had been comments that Steve Carrell would not be returning...but could this give us hope? Or just publicity so people will still talking?
Meh, all they need is love? I found it silly and not a way to resolve their issues. It just seemed like the writers wanted to manufacture drama between them and then wasn't sure how to resolve it in the few episodes they had left.
I feel like it was realistic because I've had one of those moments myself just like Pam. You fight and fight so often, you lose sight of the love...when it hits you, you're like damn, what am I doing!
I didn't see the 4/25 episode, but I just watched the 5/2 episode last night and got kind of teary in the last few minutes (the promotion, Dwight and Jim being friends, the song).

I think he'll be back in some form - maybe he'll be hosting the documentary, or there will be a phone call/Skype involving him?
When he left the show to marry Holly, I always wanted the very last scene in the finale to be him and Holly coming back for a visit and bringing their kid with them.

I think they will show "new to us" footage from the documentary, ie, maybe a year or two after Michael and Holly left, the documentary crew does a "follow up" to see where the couple is. So he's there in a way, but not, all at the same time.

I think that sounds about right. I think Michael will be included in the finale, but not in an obvious way (like showing up in the Scranton office in person).
