I woke up at 4:20 am and wasn't able to go back to sleep (boo). Not looking forward to crashing and burning, especially considering I have a bbq to go to tonight and we are moving from EST to CST, which will make me look even more pathetic (desperately wanting to go to bed at 7pm, that is).
I'm right there with you. DD woke up 3 hours ago and has not let me fall back asleep. I have to be up and run Field Day for 43 preschoolers in an hour. Today will require lots of caffeine.
I got 2 pairs of jeans from the Loft, a pair of ankle/calf lenght ones (I don't know what they call them) and a pair of regular jeans (the regular jeans are "stretch" and not like the other pair I got last fall. I hate both of them so I am returning them.
And the only way I can get anything done here at work is to be here by 530/600 every day, at least an hour before anyone else does.

My mom has been teaching for 25 years this year. This morning, they're dedicating First Friday Mass to her and having a luncheon. I'm going to be busy busy busy today! And we have a Phillies game tonight, too. I need to get going, omgggg

We just got approved for an adorable rental but one thing has me stumped. On the application I put the information about our 2 dogs. The bigger dog is a bulldog, she's about 62 lbs and that's what I put down. On the pet addendum to the lease, it says "Tenant understands that the weight of the pet(s) is not to exceed 50 pounds" and there are all kinds of reminders that if I lie on the lease/application, the lease will be terminated. Wellll she didn't lose 12 pounds since Monday, easily verified if they looked at the paperwork.
Is this not a big deal? Do I just sign it and move on?

I vote no big deal. She's a bulldog, they are not huge. You'll be fine. PIP of the dog! I love bulldogs.
Ugh, my son was up until almost 10:30 last night and just woke up at 5:20. I'm trying to get him to go back to sleep. Poor guy is having major growing pains in his feet and they are hurting pretty bad.
I bought 2 lbs of strawberries last Saturday. When I brought them home I put them in a big bowl of water to wash them, and added some apple cider vinegar. I read on a blog that can extend produce shelf life a bit. It works! Usually strawberries would be shrinking, soft, wrinkling and/or starting to get moldy by now if I had just left them in their container. And sometimes washing them ahead of time makes it worse if they don't completely dry before going in the fridge. I'm telling you, they are still perfect. Perfect. I've only eaten less than half the container and I thought by now I'd have to put the rest in the freezer but nope, they're still going strong.
I am so glad you shared this! Going to try it the next time I buy strawberries.
I wish it would just be 5:00 already. We are meeting my cousin and his wife out for dinner tonight. I adore them both and can't wait to see them and catch up.

If you start to think they might go bad and do throw them in the freezer, freeze two bananas with it. Then put them in a high powered blender (like a vitamix if you have it). I've had strawberry banana ice cream almost every night this week. It's been awesome.
Our new dog has been fine in her crate at night until last night. She cried and cried and we got zero sleep. We're going out of town and my parents are watching her and our other dogs. I am overjoyed at the idea of sleeping and no dog care for a few days.
DS #2 got a baseball glove for his birthday, he put it on backward. Then this morning we were watching Daniel tiger's neighborhood and Daniel said "Hey, do you want to make believe with me?" and DS #2 said "Yes!". So.Cute. Still can't believe he's 2.
I have my window open in my office, it's too nice this morning to not have it open.
I am testing out a shampoo bar but my hair is feeling a little tacky--I think I need to do a vinegar rinse after washing with the shampoo bar. This makes me sad, I wanted to avoid that. So now I have to figure out which type of vinegar to use.
Jack is going to the grandparents for the weekend. So only one kiddo for us this weekend. Wha Wha!
I think I have convinced H to paint our little breakfast nook. We haven't painted a thing in our house and I have so many IDEAS lol.
Our cat is going in for his lion cut today and I am so fucking happy. He is a long hair and I am tired of cleaning his hair up and having my baby covered in hair. This cut will pretty much 100% eliminate the shedding in our house for a good 6 months. It is so amazing.
I woke up at midnight last night nauseous with a couple of contractions, and noticed a tiny bit of spotting. So glad I have a dr's appt today anyway, because naturally I couldn't resist consulting Google and the results are all OMG GO TO THE DOCTOR RIGHT THE FUCK NOW and terrifying me.
I know nothing of pregnancy, but I'm sure you're all good :Y:
DH is getting out of the office early today and we are taking DS to the zoo after work and then out for pizza. I know something is going to make this plan go to hell but I am really hoping it works.
Oh! And I went for a Brazilian last night, but I like some left in the front, and told the girl that. For looks and because I find it uncomfortable when it grows back. There's hardly anything there. It makes my area look all...fat.
Sigh, the good news is that BF probably wouldn't care if I had bleached my hair since it's the only action he'll be seeing since Jan. I don't much care for the look though.
One of our interns did something completely wrong, and I'll be damned if its left up to me to fix. Because I don't have time.
My H is Greek and his family will celebrate Greek Easter on Sunday, and I'm actually looking forward to it. His mom has eveyone over to her house (family, friends, usually like, 60 people) and it turns into a huge party. It's pretty fun.
