I like Reid the best of those, but I don't like it with David as the mn. I have a weird thing where I don't like the last sound of a first name to be the first sound of the middle or last name.
Would you consider using Reginald as a middle name? That way you're honoring grandpa, but you don't have to actually call the kid by that name.
Yeah...this is what I was afraid of. I'm not really crazy about any of these names either, but I really would like to honor his grandpa and I REALLY hate Reginald.
Reid is my favorite so far. Suggestions for a middle name that starts with a d?
It's cool if you don't like them! I'm not set on any of them, just thought I'd get some opinions.
Hahaha--no, no, no. I actually like all of the names you listed. But just an hour ago I asked everyone's opinion on a particular girl's name and I quickly learned that my opinion is not only wrong (as was my choice of emoticons) but apparently quite insulting.
If you're going to go Rhys, just spell it Reese or Reece. I know Rhys is a legit spelling, but come on, people. I am so sick of seeing it on the trendy name list. SERIOUSLY.
Just had to get that out.
When I see Reese or Reece, I think GIRL. When I see Rhys, I think BOY.

I would also suggest using Reginald as a middle name. That's what we did for DD2 in honor of my cousin Joey who died in a car accident right after we found out we were having another girl.
Otherwise, I also like Reid best but don't like the D ending followed by David.
I love the name Reid. And for as much as people analyze the way first and middle names sound together, most people don't even know what my (or anybody else's) middle name is.
I think I may scrap the idea and revisit our original decision of Andrew Lawrence. We'll see how h responds.
I love Andrew. It had been our boy name forever until H decided with this pregnancy that he wants to name a son after himself. Ugh. Naming kids is hard, yo.
