DD has been running a fever since Monday. The lowest it's been is 99.9 and the highest was this morning at 103.8. I pretty much wrote the one this morning off because she had wrapped herself up pretty tightly in her blankets and it went down pretty quickly, but that is still pretty high. She has no other symptoms. No cough, no runny nose, no apparent tummy issues. She's just been cuddly and sleeping lots. Should I take her to the dr tomorrow?

My 19 month old just had this. His fevers yo-yo'd from Saturday to Monday. We called the pedi and they think it may have been roseola. When I put him to bed this evening, I noticed a very light rash across his stomach. Pedi said they've been seeing a ton of this and it just runs its course. Good luck.
What is the average temp of her fever? I read your OP and thought it sounded a lot like when my daughter caught roseola. She had temps of 103 average for two days (but they went down quickly and she wasn't lethargic, just tired and cuddly) and about 101ish for another two days. I took her to the doctor who said she didn't see anything and to watch her for another couple of days and that day she got a couple of red spots near her armpits. By the time she woke up from her nap is was all over her chest, arms and neck and the next day it looked even worse. She was never uncomfortable or crabby really and it went away after a couple of days. I hope your daughter's feeling better soon and her fever goes away!
I wouldn't wake her up to check. If it's there, it'll be a little surprise for you in the morning I hope the doctor can tell you what's up tomorrow or give you a little more advise on what to do/look for. Worrying about unknown ailments sucks so bad
II am going to guess roseola. It's going around bad right now. Definitely take her in but don't be surprised if the doctor says to wait for a rash to appear when the fever breaks. My DD just had it last week- she had an extreme case and had fever for 12 days then a really, really bad rash. Temps can go as high as 105. Treat the fever (luke warm bath, Tylenol/Motrin). But definitely take her in at least for an ear check. Hope she feels better soon!! N
ETA: lurking from main page of app sorry. Just saw this and since about 15 babies on my bmb have had roseola in the last month, thought I'd mention it!

Well now she's not running a fever. I checked it last night before bed and it was 98.6 and this morning it's the same. No rashes either. Should I still take her in?

We called the dr and they said we don't need to bring her in. She's not running a fever anymore. Still not much of an appetite but she's running around and playing so I think she's feeling better.
