Apparently I am a mystery

So I had my CD3 u/s check today. Apparently even though I had two good follies, 27mm and a 22mm for this IUI, and even though I got my trigger shot when everything looked great and ready, my body still seemed to take its time releasing the egg. My Dr thinks it probably released late and this is why my cycle drug out to 18 days past my iui before I got a period.

Seriously!?! Even when my body is step by step taken down the path to getting pregnant, and this still happens? Oh well. We have a plan for this cycle and thankfully my H's work schedule matches to where he should be around for his part for IUI #2.

Ugh that is frustrating! I wonder if there is a stronger trigger they can give you this cycle...?

We are doing an IUI this cycle too. Today is CD1 and I'm a little excited, but mostly nervous. I've done a few other IUIs with Clomid, but this is the first time we're using injectables. I got my meds in the mail on Friday. It's so weird to have a box full of syringes, alcohol pads, and vials of drugs in my closet. My CD3 ultrasound is on Wednesday morning, so I will hopefully start shots that night.

That sucks G22. It's so frustrating when everything supposedly lines up perfectly but things still don't work. Good luck next cycle.

Since I had such a good response last time, follie-wise, were doing the same dosage of femara/trigger. But pushing back my u/s to check my response to it, a day or so later than we did last time around. Well see how it goes.
