Lev Grossman's The Magician and Magician King is a good series. Not sure what the series is called or if it is a trilogy or what. I do know that #2 had a big cliff hanger so I am patiently waiting for the next one...
I'm only three books into the Ender's Saga, but I'm really enjoying it. (Wondering if I'll like the Shadow saga as much, since so many people I know who loooove Ender's Shadow hated Speaker for the Dead...)
I also really like the Hitchhiker's Guide, but I can't read more than a few of them in a row.

I loved Chronicles of Narnia when I was younger, but can't see myself reading them again as an adult.
I enjoy: Wheel of Time Game of Thrones Amelia Peabody Egyptology mysteries by Elizabeth Peters Outlander and HP of course
Oh, I loved Narnia! I probably still would, but it would be a very different experience to read them as an adult, I think. I'm afraid that I wouldn't be able to catch the magic anymore and I don't want to strip that away from my memory of them.
I re-read The Magician's Nephew a few years ago, and it's different but still magical. However, the religious undertones pretty much hit you over the head as an adult. They're a lot more obvious as an older reader.
Adult Series: The Parasol Protectorate by Gail Carriger The Dresden Files by Jim Butcher The Five Hundred Kingdoms by Mercedes Lackey
YA Series: The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins Daughter of Smoke and Bone by Laini Taylor Pretty much any series by Tamora Pierce but especially her Song of the Lioness quartet or Beka Cooper series.
