I'm really at people in Nevada driving 7 hours and then waiting in line 9 hours to buy tickets. Really? I mean, you have basically no chance at all of winning. I might buy a few today, but I won't wait in longer than about a 5 minute line.

Yes, and just the regular line at the gas station. NBD. However, I used to live in a state that didn't participate, but close enough to a border to go across and get one. I never did because the lines were ridiculous.

That's crazy! I was just walking DD in the stroller and saw a sign in a donut shop that said they sold lottery tickets and just walked right up to the counter and bought a couple Powerball Quick Picks. I didn't realize that people were waiting in line. Craziness.

Yep. 2 of them. But I wouldn't be willing to wait in a long line, much less drive for hours to buy one. That's ridiculous. I waited for about 3 minutes. There was one person in front of me shooting the breeze with the convenience store attendant, or I would have been in and out faster.

We bought some at work ($4 per person, 9 people in the pool) but someone else went in to buy them. I stopped for gas on Friday and bought one more, there were no lines.

I bought $10 and DH bought $20. I missed out on my work pool because I was traveling and out of the office. That is 20 people at $10. I am going to be mad if they win!
