What shows are you looking forward to this summer?
I always look forward to True Blood. I also like Falling Skies on TNT. I think The Newsroom is also coming back in July and I really liked the 1st season so I'm hoping the 2nd season will be good too.

Suits, White Collar before it became a non summer show, America's Got Talent, Next Food Network Star. It's so weird to have an empty DVR! Darn you summer.

SYTYCD, Covert Affairs, Design Star, MasterChef. I don't know if Bunheads, Switched at Birth, or PLL are summer shows still, they split seasons up so weird on ABCFamily, but I'll watch them if they're on.
That's all I can think of now. I'm sure they'll be some weird, new reality show on one of the major networks that will suck me in. Love in the Wild? Is that coming back? It's the only dating show I've ever really watched and it cracks me up how bad it is, I hope it comes back. There was that Amazing Race rip-off one year that had teams racing against each other, it was pretty good, but I think it was a one-time deal. I usually watch MTVs Challenge, but I don't know when that is coming back either.
Basically summer tv means reality tv for me. Bummer, I really prefer scripted stuff.
America's Got Talent, Rookie Blue and Necessary Roughness are the only ones I can think of but I know there is a lot more. We just discovered Continuum on SyFy and I think it starts a new season this summer.

DH likes Falling Skies but I can't stand it. Other than that, AGT, Design Star, Under the Dome. I'm sure there is more but that's all I can think of right now.
MasterChef and Futurama (their last season, booooo)
What?!
And yet the Simpsons circles the drain and refuses to die.
Futurama is saying that they may shop around for another network, but I won't be heartbroken if this is it. Most of the newer episodes aren't that good.
I think The Simpsons has been better in recent years than it was maybe 5-8seasons ago, but it'll never be as good as it was in seasons 3-9.
