Unless I'm confusing you with someone I feel like you've posted a lot about having massive assholes for friends?
Nope its me. I have always been a people pleaser and because of this I have definatly had some really assholes for "friends" I never say no to people and have a hard time confronting friends. My husband thinks I am "too nice". I am finding now that I am getting older I am "spring cleaning" them out of my life.
I think you should take a big shit on your brother's couch.
OMG this is funny because before I left yesterday I took a huge shit in his bathroom. My sister was like "Oh my God you shit in his bathroom" I was like "Um ya, where am I supposed to shit.. on his front lawn" LOL.
Ha, this sort of happened to me. When I was pregnant with DS, we cleaned out the guest room to get his nursery ready. We had a twin bed in the guest room that went into storage. My grandmother got sick, so my mom was going to take some time off work to stay with my grandmother, and asked if she could borrow my twin bed to set up in one of grandmoms extra rooms. Of course! So I drop the bed off at my parents house, and by the time they were ready to move the bed to my grandmothers house, they realized she would be having a hospital bed in the living room, so they wouldn't need the extra bed anymore. My bed sat in the garage at my parents for a few weeks, and one friday night I get a call from my mom asking if I want the bed back or if they should just throw it out. I'm like, um no, I'd like it back! WTF, that is going to be DSs bed one day! Why would you think you can just throw it out. NBD, but whaaaa???

Yeah, I'd be kind of wtf, too. I agree with others that said don't lend what you want back, but it still sucks. I don't even borrow stuff from a lot of people because accidents do happen - I borrowed a shirt from a friend and somehow spilled something down the front and couldn't get the stain out. Turns out it was one of her favorites, and I felt really bad and tried to pay her for a new one.
I called my brother out on the table. He was just like "Well you should't have let me use it if you wanted it back". I mean I was pretty clear that I was letting him use it til he got his head above water financially. I literally had to walk away. it wasn't the time or place to argue and the table it gone so what point would it serve. I will NEVER loan him anything.
I did talk to the "clothes thief" lol. I posted about that here. Again.. never loaning her anything again. And honestly if I never got them back I wouldn't have been pissed. But don't say you will SELL me the clothes I gave you for your kid to use.
Where did you post about talking to her? I'm dying to know her excuse, but I must be an idiot bc I don't see where you posted what happened.
Sorry I thought I posted about the clothes chick. So she posted a very specific dress on the fb yard sale and I inboxed her and said "that dress looks familiar isn't that one I loaned you?" she said "oh maybe... "
cue me thinking she would take it down. Instead I get "Hey i have a bag of stuff DD has outgrown, its a good sized bag" to which I reply "great, I will take it" she says "Is $40 okay?" I said "Um no, I don't want to buy them"
now Cue me thinking she will at least give me back the stuff I loaned her. Nope. She posts the lot of clothes for $50. I inbox her and said "Is that all stuff I gave you that you were giving back to my DD?" she said "Nope".
Not much else I can say. So I am never doing it again

You are being crazy. Say, "When can I come by and pick DD's clothes I loaned you? Oh, you sold them? You can either give me that cash or an equivalent amount of clothes and we'll call it even."

THIS. Sloan, stop letting her walk all over you. Stand up for yourself! You teach people how to treat you.
