Bob probably showed up said to each person that someone else hired him. Then they were like "okay--go talk to Joan to get your paycheck." She logged him in--done deal.
I agree that Pete is just wanting to stay out of Bob's way.
Remember how he keeps telling people what he does there, and who he reports to, and I thought it was just because no one remembers him because he was an unimportant brown-noser. I guess no one really did know what he did there.
I KNEW he wasn't "just" gay. It still seemed like Pete knew something the audience didn't? I'm not sure. I liked that Pete is using him now. I'm always amazed at how I can STILL go from hating to liking Pete to back to hating him to liking him again. He's one character that actually changes and learns.
I'm dying to see how (if?) this all wraps up. NOTHING is resolved. I'm going to be pissed if last week was the resolution of the Sylvia storyline because we spent so much time on her and it was fucking boring.
I thought Don's dressing down of Ted was so great, and Peggy is way too involved to realize Ted is, as Don said, not virtuous. Pete/Bob was perfect, and ITA that he is being smart and basically teaming up with Bob, whatever he's got planned. Sally. I want to give her a big hug, poor girl. She's so sweet and innocent, and hopelessly naive. It was heartbreaking when she told Betty her father never gave her anything.
Also, it is driving me slightly bonkers that Avon/Joan hasn't been addressed. Did he call and I missed it?
