Outrageous. On the bright side, there will be a legal challenge. Unfortunately, it's still in Texas.
What assholes.
I'm thinking that if it all gets tied up in whether the vote was after midnight, that could delay implementation even longer than the filibuster, since Perry said he'd call another special session.
I can't believe they don't have an "official" legislative clock in the Senate chamber so there can't be any debate about when the session ends/if they voted after the deadline. WTF?

Right? I was just thinking about this.
Apparently a bunch of the Dems were holding up their cell phones to indicate, "hey bitches, it's past midnight..."
This is what got me sucked into it, "the bill's sponsor, Rep. Jodie Laubenberg (R), believes putting an exemption in the law for victims of rape and incest is unnecessary because these women have already been "cleaned out" by emergency room "rape kits."

I saw something earlier about misinformation regarding rape kits from the bill's sponsor. I think "misinformation" is an understatement to put it mildly. Dear GOP: rape kits don't "shut that whole thing down" either.

Do these people actually believe this bullshit or do they just say it for the shock value? Because seriously. What the everloving fuck?
Good news is that it looks like the "vote" will be void because it was voted on at 12:01, not 11:58 like Republicans were trying to say.
What she said was that rape kits are basically D&Cs.
I really can't believe how little national coverage this is getting. Worse yet, our local (DFW area, where Wendy Davis is from) news barely reported on it at 10pm.
From Twitter I am seeing reports that even Reps were unsure what they were voting on. I am going to take solace in that and hope the confusion overrules the "vote."
