I found my first ones in high school. My hair is really dark and I'm in denial that I need to start dyeing my hair on a consistent basis. In the past I've just done a glaze for important events. My grandma was completely gray by 20.
My grandma was this way too..I'm guessing not a lot of hope for me.
That's where I'm at. My hairdresser for my wedding started tugging at my hair when the up-do was finished - she was pulling out the grays that resisted the glaze the day before.
Most of mine are around my temples, so usually don't show too badly. That's what I like to tell myself, at least. I just can't handle the maintenance of color right now.

Mine are right at the front of my head and kind of stick up. Eff!!
They are mostly right in front, but occasionally I find them scattered throughout my head. If I part my hair the right way, the ones in front are not noticeable.

I'm sorry. I know it's so hard to look in the mirror and see them.

Early 20's. I have dark hair so they were very noticeable to me, and I used to pull out every one that I found. I'm 30 now and I have a patch with a lot of them, so now I dye my hair
I started getting gray hairs last year. I'm 28. Welcome to adulthood y'all! Actually, I'm a werido because I am SO EXCITED my gray hairs are WHITE! I can't even get mad at that! White hair is so beautiful on old ladies. I guess if I'm still young (I guess less than 50?) when they take over completely I might dye my hair. For now though, I'm not bothered.
Also, I now get like a TON of those almost clear hairs on my toes and upper lip. Thank God for Surgi Cream.
Early 20s. I've gone progressively lighter when dying my hair over the past 15 years or so because with dark brown hair, the contrast was so bad. I can now go about 4.5 weeks before I need a root touch up
Not sure because I have highlighted my hair forever. When I was 29 and pregnant with DS, I mentioned to a friend that ever since I was pregnant, I had noticed a few gray hairs and she looked at the top of my scalp and said "you have waaay more than just a few!!" and ever since then, I notice them like crazy. Gotta love honest friends!
