Look at my Kitchenaid Mixer! My Dad's Friend painted for me!

This was my Granny's, so it was already super special before....man...I'm in LOVE! I wanted it split painted like a Chevy Bel Air from the 50's. My dad's friend paints cars for a living and does the amazing free-hand pinstriping you see here. ::happy sigh!::

I'm so not a photographer. This thing is amazing in person. The white is a pearl white like used on high-end cars, and there's pinstriping on the top too...Do you think Dave would get mad if I brought it to bed tonight? Like M does with her stuffed animals?

LOL NOPE! But hot rods are very near and dear to my heart. It's what my dad has done as a hobby my whole life. You better believe this bad boy (girl?) is going to sit on my counter forever. Well..at least until Dave can't take it anymore. He DESPISES things sitting on the counter. Silly neat freak husband.

Bwahaha! This is what my dad's friend just posted about painting his first mixer: "I have to say that's the first mixer I done, however I've done flip flops, high heel shoes, phone cases, iPad cases an even human toes so if it'll stick I will stripe it... LOL"

This went way beyond my imagination. I've seen tons of his work, obviously, but this...wow. He really should advertise this! I bet there are tons of people who would either pay just for the pinstripes or for the whole makeover.
