LA is having her tonsils and adenoids removed tomorrow. She has always done well with surgeries, but momma still gets nervous!
Update: surgery went fine, but LA has to stay in an extra night because she needed supplemental O2 during the night last night. Apparently it is not uncommon....but that means we are stuck here until she can sleep through the night without her O2 levels going down. She did great while napping this morning so I am hopeful.
In the meantime, thank goodness for earphones and Netflix because the Barney/wiggles/Elmo marathon is going to drive me crazy!
Poor LA- I really bet this is practically cake compared to some of the tougher things she's handled just fine, though.
My niece had pretty severe sleep issues (lots of apnea according to a study they did), and is doing so much better since having her T&A. I hope it helps with LA's issues, too. Stupid PITA body parts- I wish I'd had mine out as a kid, but, don't have the guts to do it now.
My (then) 10 month old had surgery to unblock his tearducts. That was the WORST 3 hours of my life! Even though you know it is "minor", it isn't any easier.
