I can't shake the feeling that I'm pregnant

I'm not. I'm sure I'm not.

We had (amazing!) drunk sex last Friday, but I put a stop to it before, um, it finished because I'm not on birth control and judging by how horny I was I assume I was ovulating. It's seriously the only time I really, really want it.

And I really, really, REALLY wanted it.

Since then I've just felt off, which was my only real symptom with my first. That and not feeling right while drinking- and I had one beer over the weekend and it just didn't taste right. I've taken two pregnancy tests and nothing.

I'm sure it's all in my head, but it's driving me nuts. Now since we had (awesome!) sex, I have to wait to start my new bc pill that will hopefully not make me puke everyday until after I get my period.

That was really good sex though. SIGH.

I've used this non-method for 10+ years and never had a surprise pregnancy. You're probably good.

No missing or late period yet right? Because if you dtd just this past Friday and were ovulating, then its too early for a test to pick it up anyway.

Also- those line pregnancy tests? What a mind fuck! I could totally talk myself into seeing or not seeing a line if I really wanted to. Hopefully my neighbors didn't look up and see me shoving my pee stick against the window so I could see it in "better lighting"

It's so hard to say because I have heard some people start feeling off and just know they are preggers right away, this was not the case for me though. Also, thinking about pregnancy is such a mind fuck! I hope you figure it out soon either way.

The 5th was 4 days ago. I doubt you're pregnant. (That's not to sound rude, but 4 days between sex and feeling like this, seem more like oncoming period or just a fluke. Anything is possible) When is your period due?

You're probably still too early to test but it doesn't sound like you had a ton of risk so I wouldn't worry.

That said, my current pregnancy was a result of ovulation-fueled lust (combined with boredom due to a hurricane induced power outage). I tested positive at 9dpo or so (was charting to avoid but clearly I fail at nfp).

Take a test for peace of mind in another 4 days or so.

If you think you ovulated on the 5th, then it's too early for a test to show anything. Generally you should wait until AT LEAST 12 DPO for a test to be reliable, but 14 or 15 DPO should give you almost a 100% result either way.

FWIW, we're TTC, and I've had several cycles where I was convinced I was pregnant because I had the exact same symptoms as the time I WAS pregnant, and nothing. So I know what a mind-fuck it can be. It kinda sucks.

I hope the result is what you want it to be.

You can give it the ole college try. But if you still don't get it, just keep testing until you either get a period or pop a positive.

We're currently on baby #2 with this method.  It worked for us for years until we decided to have DS.  I got pg with DD before I even had a pp period and made it almost two years before getting pg this time.  DH is so getting snipped.

I am sure you are fine. I will say both times I got pregnant I felt pregnant before I got the test. Especially with Leo who we actually tried for. I just knew I was pregnant and I had never had that feeling before.

FWIW, I would have totally sworn I was pregnant last week. Sore boobs, bloating, food aversions, lower back pain, cramping since 5-6 dpo, and my period was late.

Except that I haven't had sex in months.
