I've been charting and so far my cycles have been regular, so I'm hoping that is a good sign. I haven't taken the plunge on any OPK's as DH wants to "have fun" the first couple cycles.
My biggest concern is work, if I get PG soon, first trimester will be during our busy season at work and I'm afraid I will have to come out earlier than I want.
I'm on my 4th cycle of trying. I posted in your other thread that I was bleeding this morning. Bright red. Ever since - nothing. Not even a cramp. I'm a 28 day cycle girl, and OMG, if I started my period on day 21 I will be so annoyed. I very rarely start early/late.

This is our 6th cycle of trying, I o'd while DH was out of town, so disappointed Fingers crossed for better timing next month, which shouldn't be a problem.
Things are very up in the air. Putting baby talk on hold until things settle down with both of our jobs. Then we will have the TTC v. Adoption discuss in depth.
Good luck everyone! I have been following those of you who have been trying for a while, and I hope the next few months are big ones for MM Moms! (it seems like the last few have been a little slow)
We are starting in August. I have a doctor's appt this Friday to get on a pregnancy-friendly med and have a physical so I can make sure I'm in good health before going for it. Did I mention that if all goes well, we will have four adults, three dogs and a baby under one roof? (We are living with my parents for 18 months to help each other out while my dad quits and starts a business and my H finishes school). My plan is to write a sitcom script based on this experience and make millions.
We are....have been ttc since I turned 36 in Sept (so 9.5months). I can't believe my baby (DD3) is "3"...I've always had another baby by now. I think my thyroid issues are part of the problem--I really need to suck it up & go to the OB/GYN. I am concerned I am infertile...on the other hand it took 12mo to conceive DD2 & I was only 30 at the time. I haven't been super serious about it since December but I plan on going back to taking it more seriously (charting, fertility monitor, etc).
I think I'll use this thread to introduce myself since I've been lurking on this board since it started. Game plan is to stop BC in Nov/Dec, then TTA (and start charting) until Feb.
You guys have been very educational the past few weeks
I suppose we are. I've yet to have a pp period, but we're no longer preventing. My sis and sil have recently announced feb and may weddings, so I should prob pull out the calendar so that we skip a few mos.
We started last week but not really taking it too seriously; not charting or anything. Hope we'll get a BFP by end of the year. If not, I'll be freaking out and worrying we will never have baby #2.

Unless one of us gets seriously cold feet, Cycle 1 for us will be next month. I've been charting for years, so I know that I consistently ovulate, but my luteal phases trend on the short side so that might present a challenge.
Starting now has (roughly) been our TTC game plan since before we got married, so it's really exciting to finally be at this stage. It's also kind of scary. Part of me would like to wait until we have a down payment saved, but I feel like now is the time.
Other fears: morning sickness, co-workers being unsupportive of my plan to return to work, side-eyes from H's extended family because this will be so soon after his older sister's baby's birth, childbirth itself...the list goes on but I'm trying really hard to not be too much of a worrier.
Trying for #3; FET 8/18 -- BFN. Leaving things up to chance for now... After three years, three IVFs, and two FETs, we finally have our miracle babIES!

We are on cycle 17 of TTC. I just started my second round of Clomid today, they doubled my dose and I'm nervous about how I will react with double the meds, last month I was a hormonal, nauseous, and a hot flashing mess. Eeek!

We are, kind of. We have a couple o big weddings coming up, so we're not avoiding this month or next and if nothing happens we will start for real on September.
