It's hard to not be pissed at him. That he didn't let anyone know how much of a toll all of this was taking on him
Yes. And that he picked a permanent solution to a temporary problem. Uh huh.
I'll admit in my worst moments I've had thoughts of doing it. I guess I was too scared, or too aware of what it would do my family... I don't know. I do understand the pain. I don't understand the measures he took to relieve that pain.

Oh hell, we've probably ALL thought of doing it at some point. But we don't, because whatever this is will pass (even if it's not the situation, but the way we feel about it), plus someone is going to have to find that body.

Its ok to feel however you feel, dixie. It's probably going to take a while to process and you'll feel a lot of things... I think I would be angry too.
It's okay to be upset, angry, frustrated, sad, all of it.
Kuus is right, I think we've all thought about suicide at some point, even if it's just in an "I see how someone could make that choice in this situation" way. But most of us don't, for a variety of reasons. I'm so sorry your friend did this, something that sends out shockwaves of pain to those around him.
