I was 4cm 50% when I went in. They put me on pitocin lowest dose and slowly upped. I got my epi at almost 6 b/c I couldn't hold still (and the pit contractions are no joke but I was breathing through them). W/in 12hrs I was ready to start pushing, and after 5hrs of pushing both boys were with us
Just ask them to start slow and your body will catch up!
Oh, and I know not everyone is of the same opinion, but my doctor does not go past 41 weeks, and I am perfectly fine with that. I've read things saying that the risks from induction after 41 weeks are about equal to the risks of waiting it out. Plus, going into labor naturally is not all it is cracked up to be. lol. I wouldn't mind showing up at the hospital at a set time and being able to get an epi as soon as shit gets rough. Being THAT WOMAN who is screaming in triage is not awesome.
My docs weren't going to let me go past 38 b/c of the shared placenta.
And it turned out to be a good thing b/c the placenta had 3 calcification spots at 37w2d.
So I'm all for it. Things can turn quickly towards the end if your placenta is overworked.

My water broke without contractions at 39 weeks, from the time it broke to delivery was 10 hours. DS was born 2 hours after pitocin, 1.5 after epi and 20 minutes of pushing. No issues that I would relate to delivery.
It HURTS. My water broke with Sophia and then nothing. For hours. We walked around, did pressure points, massage, etc, nothing. So they gave me pitocin around 1pm. NOTHING happened until like 3pm and didn't start really feeling the contractions until 4pm. By 5pm, I was bouncing all over the fucking place. At like 6pm, I begged for an epi because I thought I was going to die. The anesthesiologist was busy. I screamed my way through transition. Then I had to push at like 7pm. She was out in like 5 minutes. The end.
Just in case you were planning on no epi. I am glad it happened that way, but I was not expecting the amount of pain, lol
I loved my induction. I hadn't progressed at all but I had high blood pressure. It was 24 hours from start to finish. Got the epidural at 3 centimeters and pushed for only 20 minutes. Crapped on the table in front of a cute male student nurse and felt neither shame nor pain.

Mine was pitocin only. Showed up at the hospital at 10, was holding my baby at 4:30. I didn;t want to be induced. Everyone told me how it was more painful, more difficult, ect ect ect. It wasn't anything like I thought it would be... I remember saying "That's it? Easier than a day at work." It really was. Good luck

Gah, squishy babies! So exciting! Induction with DD1 was awesome. Got hooked up to pitocin, got the epidural, napped, woke up feeling some pressure and boom, had a baby and then ordered a pizza. Start to finish, 12 hours. DD2's induction was a little different because we were high risk but it went a lot faster. No issues with either. Good luck
Went in at 11pm on a Thursday and had DD1 11:07pm on Friday.
They did cervadil (sp?) thursday night and around 9 they hooked up pitocin.
Zero issues. I don't want to make any autism jokes, but DD is as normal as an almost 5 year old girl can be. (She seems ot have early onset hormone meltdowns but you know she's a girl and she is my daughter and my MIL granddaughter. so she's got some dramatics to live up to
Seriously it wasn't that bad, I will say my second non-induced labor was more enjoyable because I got to the hospital at 6 and had DD2 at 11, but I can't say that's because it was not induced or because it was my second.
You will be fine and post pics can't wait to see baby!!
Went in at 7 AM and they broke my water and gave me a low dose of pitocin. He was born at 1:18 PM that day. I was 40w4d and he doesn't have autism. The only issue was that it was vacuum assisted but that's something that would have happened induction or not.
