A few people on a Canadian board I'm on know the family or live in the community.
But it is VERY true that everyone is rallying around the family and there's not even a dirty undercurrent of support for the writer. Not even a little bit.

Shit would be ON if I lived there. I would end up arrested. I am not exaggerating. I've got a pile of bricks around the side of my house and I'm sure she's got breakables.

What a terrible human being. It's wonderful to hear the community is rallying around them. And I hope the asshole's name comes out publicly. She deserves every ounce of backlash.
Wtf? This is disgusting. Whoever wrote it deserves many things, all of the horrible. Too bad assholes of this caliber don't immediately erupt into flames because I doubt anyone would even spit on her.
Whoever wrote this needs to move in with the family who is protesting the wheelchair ramp for the girl with CP. And by move in, I mean put themselves in a rocket and blast off into space.
I wish I lived in their neighborhood, too. I've planned in my mind a protest involving wrapping a giant banner that reads "HEY ASSHOLES, HOW'S THIS FOR YOUR PROPERTY VALUE?" around my house. Fortunately/unfortunately, I live on a block of decents.

Jesus, that poor mom. I can't even imagine how she felt reading that. I'm glad that the neighborhood is rallying around them.
Yeah, I don't care how tough you are and how ridiculous the letter is, hearing your baby being called an animal had got to cut you.
I agree. Someone saying my kid should be euthanized would kill my heart. Ugh. Our neighbors have 3 kids on the spectrum and yeah, they're loud and whatever, but so are my kids. I can't get it up for kids being loud. Kids are loud whether they're neuro-typical or not.

I went from rage to knowing that this is a miserable person. I don't wish her life, because obviously it's turned her into the most despicable excuse for a human imaginable. I'd pity her, but her behavior has lost her even that.

I wonder if the author of the letter is also one of the supporting neighbors? You know like when they saw the other neighbors rallying around this family they figured they had to also to not look suspicious?

I thought this, too. To me, this sounds so juvenile, I wouldn't be surprised if the author was a two-faced bitch, and the one organizing the rally in the boy's support.
