OMG Alaskan cruise for my honeymoon was, hands down, the best decision I've ever made. Which cruise line? You're going to have SO MUCH FUN!
It's a Princess cruise. Round trip out of Seattle. We are flying in to Seattle on the 7th in the morning and leaving on the ship on Sunday so we are going to try and cram as much Seattle stuff as we can on Saturday! :-)
I did the exact same trip
We had one full day in Seattle and it totally wasn't enough. I definitely want to get back there sometime. Is it the Sapphire Princess?

No, we are going on the Golden.
I know our time in Seattle will feel way too short but we couldn't take any more time off of work and wanted to at least see some of it! :-) We are going to take a behind the scenes tour of Pike Place market per Moe's recommendation.
If you like beer and amazing-but-so-bad-for-you food, go to the Pike's Place Brewery.
Excited......Sort of, Yosemite in the beginning of Sept. Car camping in the valley, I'm excited yet freaking the eff out because it's 4 nights of camping with a 3.5 year old and a 18 month old.
I went on an Alaska cruise back in Aug. '01......OMG it's been 12 years! It was rainy and drizzly for 5 out of the 7 days but it was absolutely gorgeous. I would love to go back. We were on Holland America and it was an older crowd, I would say at least 50-60% were retired people....definitely not a booze cruise but it was so much fun. We got off in Seward and rented a mini van and drove up to Denali and back. If you stop over in Juneau, try to take the tram up to the top of the mountain, it's beautiful and you can walk around in a rainforest. It smelled so good up there, I wish I could have bottled it up.
not really a vacation more like a getaway We have a 2 bedroom timeshare saved in Carlsbad Sept 6-9 hopefully it will be nice weather and we will bring our Sea Doos with us

Girlfriend, you let me know when you come to Seattle and I'll drive down to meet you!
I leave in a week and a half to tour the South Island of New Zealand! I'm so excited!
Oh my gosh! You are going to have the most amazing time. Where all are you going? Are you driving around the island? I have about a million and a half suggestions for you if you want them.
DH and I did our spring break trip to NZ when we were in Australia studying abroad and we went back for our honeymoon. It's really an incredible place.

I'm jealous of all the awesome vacations!
We are hoping to do a weekend trip in March for my birthday. Probably going to a city about 2.5 hours away that has beautiful scenery and lots of wineries. Their big winery there always has a Wine Fest the weekend of my birthday.
Then next summer we are thinking of either going to Florida or going back to Michigan for a week and renting a condo with my BIL and his girlfriend.

Have a great time! I'm first generation American (all my family is from NZ) so I spent lots of time there growing up. Amazing country if I do say so myself.
My cousin just won the Coast to Coast triathlon and I was so bummed I didn't make it over to watch. He and his brothers repeatedly win is like that and I haven't made it. I'm so envious! Take and post lots of pics when you get back! :-)
isabel and @lovespugs I would love any and all suggestions you have! Most important before I book my buses tomorrow, how many days should I spend in Invercargill? What about Dunedin? I have about 4-5 days to spread out between Timaru, Invercargill and Dunedin. Spending 2-3 between Wanaka and Fox then 4 or so days in Queenstown and Milford sound!
