One spouse from H's class just asked for my address for the 4th time in six months.
Not that it's that big of a deal tell her AGAIN, but don't you have a place to write these things down? I gave everyone in class my contact info at the beginning, she asked for it again to send out Christmas cards, again for a baby shower she threw in January, again for a party invitation, and just now for another baby shower invitation.
I feel like it's rude to continually ask someone for the same piece of information over and over in a short time period.

Can you send it to her by email? Then, the next time she asks for your address, because she will, you can forward her the email, showing that she already has it?
I find this annoying, but I am, too, guilty of doing it!

My family has such trouble with this. Not only were they asking for my address, but since they knew I had an address book, they'd call me for other addresses too. I finally gave a passive aggressive hint and gave my mom and older sister address books with everyone's addresses in it for Christmas one year. I gave one to each of my younger sisters as they got married. No one's asked me for another address since!
So yea, I get it being a pet peeve. I like Nomad's suggestion of emailing it. It might be easier for her to hang onto and find later on rather than a piece of paper.
Nomadic - the first time, it was hard copy. The next two times were via FB message, then via e-mail, and this last time she asked for it by text.
Pumpkin - I said that to DH last night! We get each student and spouse in the class a card for their birthday and I said, "I wonder when her birthday is. I'm definitely getting her an address book instead of a card!"
I've probably asked for my sister's a dozen times. It's always when I'm not in a place to write it permanently. She's been too nice to give me shit
This is me, except instead of sister it's my best friend. I've done it maybe 4 times now, and finally stopped what I was doing and added it to her contact on my phone.
