We'll see if this works, since it didn't work on TN Attached should be the yarn I dyed over the weekend. The one on the left was supposed to be stripes of bright orange, black, and hot pink. But I used WAY too much dye, and 2 kinds of "black". It still looks interesting. The one on the right was my first effort, and ended up somewhat rainbow-ish like I sorta had in mind. And the one in the middle was made using leftover dye from others in my class. Best effort yet
Oh, and I'll see if I figured out adding pix in the body of this too
The one on the left is DK, so I'm considering a cowl or maybe some socks if I have enough. I'm going to call it my Hot Mess Project. The other 2 are worsted, and I'm thinking either cowls or hats for DD. Feel free to share any ideas if you have 'em!
I'm tempted to try some different methods (Kool Aid, crock pot, etc.). I have a dyeing book I bought 2 years ago and have barely cracked open. And I know I have a ton of undyed yarn in my stash. We'll see. It's either going to be that or learning to spin

Awesome. I love the blue! I've just started playing around with dyeing yarns (I just dyed my second skein tonight). I've just been playing around with kool aid and wilton dyes, but am thinking about trying acid dyes.

I love that shade of blue, its so beautiful! It would make gorgeous accessories for the winter to wear with a black coat, just imagine how that would stand out!
