I was just thinking that I want to run to the store for some ice cream, but the store I was thinking of was the one near my house in Madison.
Something didn't quite feel right about that, but it took me several seconds to realize that that store is 1300 miles from here. Then it took me another couple of seconds to call to mind the store here.
Not exactly but sometimes I momentarily forget how to get somewhere I've been to plenty of times before like the eye doctor. I'll just be driving on my merry way and end up somewhere else nearby like the mall.
I swear, in Bangkok (granted, after like 16 days of 17 hour work days every day) I had to write my physical address somewhere. And I couldn't remember it. As in, I could visualize the house, and I was desperately trying to remember the numbers, and I could remember my friends' address (the one where I lived for 3 months before moving), and for some reason, I was remembering my bank account numbers, but I couldn't remember my god damned house address. And I started to freak out BADLY.
But that's not the same.
I sometimes do think that I'd like to just walk behind to the Sushi Box. Best crunchy spicy veggie tempura rolls.

I think of points in the state in relation to where I grew up. I announced once that it would take 2 hours to get somewhere when I was living just up the road from said place.
DH can't remember what county we live in and there are only 16 to pick from.

I goggled my own home phone number last week. It was a voicemail on my dad's cell phone that I was clearing off before I had the line terminated (he passed away). The voicemail didn't say anything, but the autovoice read the number. I thought it sounded familiar, but couldn't place it.

"I was thinking about getting off on demand, but it sounds like I should be glad that I didn't"
When driving, I sometimes head to old work or old house.
Oh and I've had a bunch of random keys on my key chain for years. I know they go somewhere important, but I can't remember where. I don't want to get rid of them because I just know I'm going to need them at some point.

I still want to give my maiden name out sometimes. I've been married almost 9 years (changed my name immediately). I like to reason that it is because my maiden name is better.
Oh yeah, and I have to think hard about how old I am.

Oh and I forgot my pin number for my bank card for like a week. I locked myself out of it. I was honestly considering a possible TIA that week, it was a bit worrisome.
Sometimes I forget when I'm wearing makeup, and I will rub my eyes for awhile cause it feels good. It's not until I look down at my hands, then it's like "ohhhhhh".
