Was anyone looking for gossip mag subscription deals?

I had a thread a while back about trashy gossip magazines and I thought a couple people wanted info on subscriptions deals.  I found a couple for US Weekly, which is one of the priciest gossip mags, and deals for it are rare.

This link gives you a big reduction to $34/year.

This link gives you a free subscription but you have to join Rewards Gold and complete a survey.  I did it and it was no biggie.  However, you may not receive any confirmation that your subscription was activated.  I received an initial email promising to send me my Rewards Gold website password, but that was two weeks ago and it still hasn't arrived.  The only way I know my subscription was processed was because I logged onto my current US Weekly account and saw that the expiration date had changed.  Even the hard copy of the magazine I'm getting still doesn't show the new expiration date.  So overall, this method is a bit less "official."
