Holy crap! That was a crazy episode. Predictions for what happens? Walt gets away and everyone else is dead? Did they show previews for next week? Our DVR cut off.

Obviously Walt gets away because of how season 5 parts 1 and 2 began. I have a feeling Hank and Gomez are goners, especially because of the phone call Hank had with Marie. I think Jesse might get away, but not sure how.
I now think that the guns in Walt's trunk in the beginning of the season is for protection/use against Jack, Todd, and their gang.
I was shocked when Walt confessed everything on the phone to Jesse. That was the start of the amazing last 20 minutes or so of the episode.

Damn, I loved their plan. That was an amazing episode. I think Jesse has to get away. I wonder if in the end Walt comes back out of hiding for Jesse, to rescue him somehow. I can kind of see that as his last, heroic gesture to redeem himself before he dies, trading his life for Jesse's even though in this ep he was willing to sacrifice Jesse to avoid exposure.

I could see this.
I wonder about this too, the relationship Walt has for Jesse in protecting him, treating him like a son, taking care of him and worrying about his image for only Jesse makes me think that has to come in to play in some way in the ending.

I don't know...I think this whole time it's been more about Walt manipulating Jesse to get what he wants. Sure, I think he has some feelings for Jesse in that he doesn't want him to get hurt, but I think at this point, Walt is too narcissistic, self centered, and only worried about his money right now- I mean, he just put a hit out on Jesse! Lol. But I think he is past the point of caring about anyone but himself. This show does an amazing job with character development, and showing how much people have changed, it's incredible.
He did put the hit out on Jesse, but I think more so because of pressure from Skylar, and Saul. Even while talking about killing him, he was still defending him. Still wanting it to be painless. You may be right, but I am not sure I'm convinced he's been using Jesse for manipulation. I wonder if in fact Jesse is the only link to "Mr. White" left and that's why he holds on to him and wants Jesse to see him as "Mr. White." Does that mean that there is still Mr. White in there?
The one thing I noticed in this episode on the phone conversation was that for the first time ever, Jesse called him Walt.
