It's funny- when Harrison first got on the treadmill, I thought "Hum... what are they setting up?", then when he got on again and refused to get off - I was like "here we go - he'll hurt himself and Hannah has to take him to the hospital".
And since when does Dexter turn OFF his phone when setting up a kill room?
Vogel. Dude. For being such a (supposedly) world renowned psychologist - she has been played up to be just SOOOOO dumb. Or maybe it's just bad acting. But the whole episode, I was like "This is going to end very badly for her".
And the way she's been portrayed, the whole "mother/son" thing w/ Dexter just didn't seem truly real. It felt very forced in this episode just to make the point of "she chose the wrong son again".
I really, really, really hope they don't tie up this show in a neat little package where Dexter rides off into the sunset w/ Hannah.

I agree the scene with Harrison was very predictable. I'm hoping that the bounty hunter guy does catch Hannah. I don't want Dexter to ride off into the sunset either I'm hoping that he gets caught or that Vogel's son kills him.
I'm sort of happy that Deb and Quinn are likely to be together again.
Also, I hope that Vince's daughter is really a "bad" guy and up to no good with Vogel's son. That's reaching I'm sure though. One can hope!
I don't understand why Hannah doesn't just dye and cut her hair. It would have saved so much trouble.
Dude. I was thinking that last night. It's actually annoying me that they aren't doing this. And give her some bangs. CHANGE her look.
"They won't be looking for a woman traveling w/ her husband and child" is really what they are going off of? ESPECIALLY after that nurse recognized her?!?!
This is why it will make me even more annoyed if they do actually get away!!

Seriously. Even just a wig.
I don't get Vogel either. I had high hopes that maybe she was playing both Dexter and her son somehow, but no...just stupid. :-P Her character was so savvy and insightful at the beginning and then..."Oh, yes, crazy killer son with a mommy complex, come have tea with me!"
There was a quote from some MST-3K movie where a guy says, "A crazy killer's crazy...and he'll kill you." As soon as the son showed up I said that to my DH.

For this being the final season of Dexter, it certainly hasn't felt like it, especially compared to Breaking Bad. I mean there has been almost no intensity to this season or breathless race to the finish line - I can't even think of how they are going to wrap up eight seasons in just two more episodes.
Vogel was a good character at the beginning of the season, but by the end of Sunday's episode, I was ready for her to be gone.
