I was looking for alternatives to jloww's post and remembered cement tiles. Have you thought about that for your backsplash?

I will be looking at these carefully, but for now I have put the backsplash on the back burner.   I have had so many decisions to make and so much going on here that it just seemed like something had to be put off for now, but I would rather be looking at tile than trying to find a sink, faucet and pot filler.  I am so tired of looking at them.

Btw, we bought the galaxy light from rejuvenation.  I tried for something more budget friendly, but DH thought that the next best was not even a close second, and that we should go for it.  It is supposed to be here on Friday!
