When is this? Like next weekend? Or do you have time to train? Doing 13.1 on one day and then a full the next is (I'm assuming) very difficult... unless you have trained to do both.
If you have proper training, than I don't see a problem with it. However, if you don't, I don't think it's a smart thing to do.
Joenali-the Goofy Challenge is in January, I think.
Stpete-You be crazy But seriously though, if you want to do it I say go for it...it'd be a great experience and I've heard the Goofy medal is extra awesome.
I'm confused. The 13.1 is on a saturday and the full is on a sunday? THe pp's are saying they are about 3 months apart. Which is it?
The OP is talking about doing a full marathon in November, then doing the Goofy Challenge in January. The Goofy Challenge consists of a half-marathon on Saturday and a full on Sunday (the next day, hence the "goofy" title).
OP... If you do the training right, you should have plenty of time for it. Just remember that if you do the Goofy, you will not be hitting a PR for either race. Nor should you really try!

Also,.when they were talking about the spacecoast I kept thinking ”stingshark is doing that one!” Lol
LOL YAY!
The group I run w/ is trying to peer pressure me into doing Disney. I'm trying really hard to stand my ground and refuse. It's going to be tough since some of my closest friends from the group are doing it (and training would be a lot more pleasant) ..but Disney just doesn't do it for me. I'd much rather run in Cocoa.
I think I've of the things that holds me back mentally its my time. I'll be lucky to finish a full in five hours. I know here that is super slow. However, I asked my coach today and he said the coarse its open 8 hours. Which tells me that if I'm at five our lusty over I'm not the last. What say h&f, should you only do a full if you expect to” race” it?

Time only matters if you want it to. Go for it.
Ditto. I finished my full marathon in 5:50something and I was nowhere close to last. It was still a great experience and I'm glad I did it.

Do it! I did a full in October and had signed up to do Goofy that January. Then I got pregnant and had to back out, which sucked, but if it wasn't for that, I would've done it. My plan was to run both the half and full slower than my usual pace, stop a lot for photos, etc.
