Thank goodness its Friday! What plans do you guys have for this beautiful weekend? What are you up to today?

Its going to be beautiful here this weekend, only the mid-seventies! Woohoo! E has a test for school tomorrow but other than that just spending time together and catching up on yard work.

I'm working today and then having a girls night in alone tonight because E has class.

We have absolutely nothing planned for this weekend. I think T is going to get a haircut, I'd like to get some of the non-perishable things for Sophia's birthday party next weekend, and a pair of shoes for the dress I'm wearing for a wedding next Friday. I'd also like to assemble the goodie bags for the birthday party.

I still can't believe that she is going to be 1! Its crazy how quickly they grow.

Going to the beach this weekend to celebrate my birthday. I wish I could live there.

When we get back we're putting in ceiling fans, settling on paint colors and hopefully I'll nag M enough to stain the porch and deck. Its been a sauna though, so anything that's outside and not near water is suicide.

I'm spending the day with my niece & O. We're going into town shortly to get snow cones and maybe go to the park. Tomorrow is an all day women's only God conference with my mama. Sunday will be goodbyes then I go back to California on Monday. 19 days is a looooong time, but I'm glad the family got to know O's personality a little before he changes too much.

It is going to continue to be hot as hell here, so I plan on bunking in and reading in my air conditioned house. Hot weather makes me grouchy. I hate summer. Hate, I tell you. Ugh.

It's really hot and humid here, so I think that Jackson and I will spend the weekend at the pool. I should also probably clean my house...but I doubt that will actually happen!

I think we are going on a date tonight, and my mom is going to keep B. Then a yard sale Saturday. Then packing/cleaning Saturday afternoon and Sunday. Ugh. I just want to get this freaking move over.

Unrelated to this weekend, I am getting a ultrasound Thursday to see if we can see what 2.0 is! The OB wanted to look since I am not sure when I will get into the OB when we move.

Yay, Friday!

Plans aren't too detailed yet. We know we are meeting up with some friends for supper and games tomorrow. There's a mountain of laundry downstairs calling my name (it's washed, it just needs folding... I always suck at folding...).

I need to run by BB&B to pick up some compost bags, and will probably use that trip to go look for new workout pants, as it will take me in proximity of a couple places to look. I, apparently, am really fussy when it comes to workout pants, and have been having a hell of a time finding anything. I just want something that isn't skin tight. I could settle with close fitting, but I'm already having to deal with negative self-image just to get _to_ the gym, I don't need to have to overcome wearing something I'm uncomfortable in, too.


Oh, and sleep. I need sleep. Lots of sleep.

I'm not doing anything fun this weekend, but I am going to Maryland for a concert on Monday.

Going to a baby shower tomorrow. K wants me to go to the Bayou Boogaloo and get him some boudain (sp?) and a few other things. I'm thinking I might not get around to it. It's frickin' hot and humid and I don't feel like taking a 3 mos. old baby out in that and having to pay $10 just to get in the gate. He can take time off from work next year and go.

I just want to get caught up on sleep, do the grocery shopping, the laundry going, and bake banana nut bread. L will love me forever for doing that last part when she comes home from Florida.

And I just remembered I need to go by her summer day camp place and get next week's schedule. I have no idea when and what they are doing for their field trips next week.

Happy birthday Betty!

My sister is coming to stay with me for a week starting tomorrow! I'm pretty excited because I love having some sister time with her, and it'll be nice to be able to be home with her and not feel bad leaving her home while I'm at work or anything. I have to drive about 2 hours to "switch off" with my mom to pick her up, since she's only 14 this is how we have to do it, and then we'll go grocery shopping and probably come back here and relax. Who knows about Sunday... maybe the zoo since I have a family membership and we both love the zoo.
