Jesus, otter! I'm so glad you and Rosie are okay! How does something like this happen?
No clue. Something might have been loose or missing with the heater. Who knows. They will be checking the car out to figure it out.
I've had a few people say to sue, but for what? There's nothing to sue for. We're fine. They are covering medical bills, reimbursing me, and said they would reimburse me "extra". There's nothing to sue for, IMO.
I'm so glad you called your mom instead of stopping to take a nap with the car on.
I know. I'm trying to ignore the "what ifs". Like, what if there had been heater vents in the back seat? Would that have been too much on her? I just can't even think of it.

Omg, how horrifying! Thank god you called your mom and that they knew where to find you. My childhood friend's little brother and fiancé got carbon monoxide poisoning in a hotel they were staying in. Sadly his fiancé passed away in the bath tub and his mom found him unconscious in the bed. It is seriously terrifying what can happen. I'm glad the rental company is being cooperative. Just sooo glad you and that sweet baby are safe.

That's so sad. It's horrible, because it's not like it has an odor or anything. I just kept thinking I was tired from being a new mom or something.
Holy crap I'm glad you're both okay. Thank goodness you were on the phone with your mom and able to pull over. And thankfully the car rental place is being cooperative because yeah, they should be scared to heck and back with what happened.
