I have to say, this is the first time I've ever seen a series finale and thought, "That was just PERFECT." It was everything I wanted and didn't know I wanted. Well, some of it I knew I wanted, especially Walter saving Jesse. And yet they didn't try to make it a complete character turnaround, either. I loved the part where he admits to Skyler that he did it for himself.

Oh, one thing I saw that was cool was that the name of the episode, "Felina," in addition to being an anagram for "Finale," was for Fe Li Na (Iron, Lithium, and Sodium) meaning "Blood, Meth, and Tears."
I thought the way he pulled his old Gray Matters partners into it to get his money safely to his children was brilliant. Plus I totally laughed when I saw the "hitmen" were Badger and Skinny Pete.
I'm so glad Jesse lived, and I think Walt dying how/where he did, in the lab, was perfect.
So many great shows have had disappointing finales, but I was happy and satisfied with the way BB handled everything.
I only got into it for the last few episodes - MH watched the whole series and sometimes I'd watch with him - but I thought it was a great ending.
I LOVED the way he combined his revenge on the Schwartzes (without actually putting them in danger but giving them something to think about for the rest of their lives) plus getting the money to his son. The "You're going to need a bigger knife" line was great.
I liked that he told Skyler that he did it for the thrill. Also liked how they set up the wide camera shot in the kitchen with the pillar separating them. Very sad but fitting that he chose not to approach Walt Jr./Flynn. Glad he got to see Holly again.
I'm glad that Jesse got away without killing Walt. I felt so bad for Walt when the police car lights were pulling up outside, and almost relieved when he dropped to the ground.
The only reason I'm not happy with it is because it's over! It was a great finale. Walt's end was perfect for the man he'd become. It was cool to see the closure he got with his family. Jesse, man, breaks my heart, but he's free...I hope he stays clean and starts life over again and can be happy (it's like he's a real person, lol)
