I posted before about my frustration with the sizing on women's shirts on Think Geek, etc. being cut too small in the chest.  I still can't figure out how I'm a Medium at Old Navy, etc., and still can't fit the boobs into an XXL at Think Geek.  Anyway, this shirt I wanted to wear to ComicCon was only at Skreened, and so I ordered the American Apparel men's size to fit over the boobs.  I'm following this tutorial to change the dorky high round neckline to a v-neck, and it seems to be going really well (I have to hand-sew it so it's taking forever).  You can't make too deep a v, but if this works out I might actually try to order some t-shirt ribbing trim and do this on a regular basis and make the v exactly how I want (if the trim doesn't match it'll look more like a ringer tee, but I think that'll be okay).  Of course now I have to shorten the sleeves and the bottom and if I'm really ambitious take the waist in a little, but the neck is definitely the thing that bugs me the most about men's shirts, so I figured I'd share.  I took a "before" pic so I'll try to post an "after" when I'm done.

Here's the before & after I promised. Excuse my crappy pics.  Ugh, sorry that was so giant at first!  I messed up a little sewing the point of the collar, but I know what I did wrong so I can fix it tonight.  :-)  Overall it's not a deep v but it's a big improvement.

So, I totally missed this post, and came across it when trying to find the post we did about shirts. Were did you get that shirt? Do you have the link? I tried searching under Rogue (thats who it is right?) and mutant and nothing came up on Skreened. Someone remind me how to page dr.girlfriend 
I am going to try this on some of Dh shirts. I desperately need new tshirts.

Boo. Well, my boobs should fit into normal shirts now, I think.

Oh, hey, sorry, just saw this.  I found the page with her design on deviantart, but the link to t-shirts doesn't seem to work (links to other designs), and it looks like her Tumblr account is shut down.  I wonder if she pulled it for copyright violation issues or something?  Here's the design on deviantart, if you want.  Or, if a (men's) size large works for you, I can send you the one I have.  I never wear it, because although the bust fits, the rest (sleeves, waist, length) etc. is too big for me, and I'm too lazy to try to alter it more.  I just wanted it for NYCC.  Here's the deviantart link, if you want to investigate further, or message the artist:

Did you hear they cut Rogue completely out of X-Men: Days of Future Past? I was irritated at first, but now I think I'd rather they cut her out altogether than to have one or two scenes of a sucky Rogue.

Just let me know. I don't think the artist ever actually has possession of physical t-shirts, I think they just upload the design and skreened does the production and mails them directly, but you never know. Maybe she just switched to a different website, like cafepress or something. But if you don't find it, let me know. I can't actually remember what size I ordered in men's, and I think the tag got ditched when I changed the neckline, but I could probably check my email to find out.

Yay!  So glad you got it.  And, I totally messed up the point of the v-neck, there's a little pleat there, lol.  I meant to redo it, and then never bothered.  :-)

  I wearing it today, and my DH said I looked super cute, and gave me the eye brow wigggle, so I think you did a great job on the Vneck.
