Ellen Pompeo on Greys

I thought this was really interesting.  Sounds like she and Dempsey will be renewing their contracts in the spring (likely a reason why Shonda Rhimes isn't pushing to end the show anytime soon) and I though the dig at Heigl at the end was funny "she thought her movie career would take off and then it didn't"

Yay - glad Ellen Pompeo and Patrick Dempsey will be sticking around!

With her and Dempsey staying, I hope they refocus the show around the original characters. All the crap with the interns sucks. Maybe the show will get better? Based on last weeks episode, I'm this close to dumping it.

I hate the interns story lines.

Yes, I love Jackson!  I don't like April as much though. Also, this drove me nuts last week.  If April hadn't passed her boards yet, why was she doing a solo surgery?  That just didn't seem right!  No one else was operating alone before that. 

Yeah, I loved the week before when he woke up and she said he was family.  So I'm really bummed they took it the other way. I'm hoping it is just a fake out.

Yeah I think Heigl pissed off a lot of people in Hollywood. I have not seen her in a movie recently, and she is currently in a NyQuil commercial. Also, either last year or the year before she was asking to get back on Grey's and was denied. I think if she was super successful, she wouldn't have gone crawling back to the show.
