And I just figured out "who" the random person who added me a while back was
LOL I just accept everyone without looking. Extra friend points & monies? Yes please!

Oh yeah, I need all the chances for random donuts I can get, I'm not picky on accepting invites:)
eta: In fact, I don't think it's a sign of a problem that @jermys has a Reddit town and a virgin town--I think it's a problem that the rest of you Redditers don't have virgin towns for me to visit as well (idea)
I finally got it to update and I finally got around to visiting the bakery. I still haven't bought the unfinished shed yet because I'm about 50 donuts short, so I'm excited to go through that bit of the last update.
I think I got a little burned out with the Easter update. I haven't been playing anywhere near as much as I used to play.
I love that you can click the town hall to locate a character now and that it's alphabetized. After the event ends I was thinking about blowing my town up to start over on the design because I've been out of room for like five levels and three events. I love my town, but all these gigantic buildings are ruining my design. I can't believe they are still holding out on giving more land. I'm going to have to do a simple design with no extras. So sad.
I tried on my phone and bluestacks. I can't get it to load.
Ack! I haven't been able to get it to work on bluestacks for like months now. All I get is a black screen. I just finally got back into my main town after getting locked out when the Easter update finished. I can visit your town, so that's good news. When my town was locked out anyone that visited their game crashed.
Can someone give me a quick background on this update. What's th inspiration and what are the neato things about it. I placed the one building but sadly all my people are on a 24 hour task so I'm worried that I'm missing all the good stuff.
How are people who don't have any land handling the big buildings? I had a plot that I thought it would fit on, but NOPE. Luckily I haven't really done much so I have a bigger empty space I can plot it in.

I'm going to squeeze all the stuff in somehow and after the event is over I'm going to nuke my town and start the designing over again. This time I'll do a simpler layout so that I'll have room for new items in the future.
I don't get how to get emblems. I have the "collect on houses," but I don't know how to do that.
You get them by visiting towns of those who have made it past the first stage of the Stonecutter quests. I can see several friends who have the Lodge and #1 but must not have reached the right part inn the quests because they don't have the cameras floating on their town's buildings.

When a neighbor taps on one of your houses, instead of a hand you'll get a pyramid symbol floating on it. That's how you collect. Or vice versa, when you click on a neighbor's house you'll get emblems.

I've gone into some neighbors, and I haven't received any emblems. Do I have to have a certain amount of tasks completed in my Springfield?
Holy crap, it looks like there is a time limit for completing Number 1's tasks to get all 1000 emblems. I see a countdown clock and it is less than 9 hours. WTH?

(butting in) I think it is more that they don't have the correct amount of tasks done or haven't downloaded the update.

They have to be currently playing the game to get the emblems. Do you have the stonecutter guy in the upper right of your screen? If so you should be able to collect.

they're mostly 1 hour tasks (i think 1 was 2 hours?).

No, I don't. What task is that?
The first task is drinking squishees. I think you need to collect your houses first and then you'll be prompted with the squishee task and get No1 in the corner.
