I hate to say it but the last part of the Christmas event has made me temporarily quit.  It was just too boring.  I know this makes sound a little "oh the good old days" but last years event was so much better.

Same. And being home all day, sick, with no real work to do helps. And on my list, I'm currently winning!


But now I've hit the point that I can't get enough elves to launch by the time I have launches available

Did many of you give up on this event? My numbers are dwindling, and I think the event has gone on way too long.

I haven't given up! I just got my island & I'm working on donuts now. I had 120 donuts & now I have 14. I have no idea what happened but I almost cried. I was so close to sideshow Mel!

Do you have it ask before spending donuts? Before I fixed that, I lost a lot of donuts on brown houses

This kept happening to me too.  I just got the train depot, or whatever the prize is before the island.  I hope five days is enough time to get the island though.

DH blew up his town, and I'm tempted to do this too and rebuild.  But that's a helluva committment.

Don't do it.  I did it a few months back and it's painful to rebuild.  I have kind of given up...

DH has everything in his inventory, and he is currently rebuilding.  He is actually enjoying it...but he's also still off from winter break, LOL.
