Did you get Kang for free with the Victorian spaceship? I already had Kang from last year, so Kodos was free for me this year. I love sending them both on a 16hr evil chortle.

Kang is BabyLiu's new favorite character. She likes the evil laugh too. Her previous favorite was Luigi tossing pizza.

I am trying to do The Ghost in the Machine pt 7 task and it wants me to build the control building. But, in order to do that, I have to "Start the 'It's Pronounced Nu-cular Pt. 3' Quest".

How do I do that? Does that option come after the alien guy is done doing his thing?

That's part of the regular story line. You build the nuclear plant. I don't remember when that occurs, though.

No running was the last task in his story line.

I've officially reached the highest level the game has to offer. Now I'm ignoring everything except goo until Nov.

You do need the plant to finish the ghost story, though. Homer has to go and say nice things about Frank Grimes.

The plant triggers based on a bunch of other shit.  If you poke around the EA forums they have a walkthrough so you'll know what you need.

In order to actually finish the ghost quest you'll have to get as far as having the Gilded Truffle built.  (that's where I got hung up - I'm just finishing the ghost quests now)  I had it all written out to tell you to start ignorning the quests and just focus on goo tasks because you have a while to go until you can get the truffle built, but looking at the building list I realized that you don't actually have burns yet (duh) since he come with the plant, or bart, or marge.

So...yeah...you want burns, bart and marge since they all earn goo.  But i'm not sure I'd tie homer up as much as needed to get all the way to the truffle when you could just have him do regular goo tasks instead.  

I dunno.  Somebody else wanna weigh in on this?

You'll want to have some cash built up before the next update, though. Plus, if you keep earning XP, you'll max out the XP bar and get bonus donuts, so keep assigning people to jobs.

I haven't read the tapped out forums, but I assume that any Thanksgiving update wouldn't happen until after Halloween. I expect it'll be something small, like the 4th of July (just a one day update with a few items)

Is there a way to turn off the notification noise from the game itself or do I have to control it from my device. Also, is there something I should be doing to ensure that I can switch from phone to tablet and back without getting the "I'm sorry, you need to go back and save" message?

Can someone help a sista out?

you can shut down the notification noises.  I know this is possible.  Finding the damn thing took MH foooooorreeever though and was a serious problem in our marriage.  (think just got back to sleep after nursing the 2 week old at 2 AM and suddenly hear homer's Woohoo!"  I was going to KILL HIM.)

but I'll be damned if I remember where it is.  if nobody else beats me to it I'll ask him.

I remember seeing the little i on the tablet, but I don't seem to have one on my phone. Boo!
