lshoes, if jumping into dating right away is what helps you get over your late husband more quickly, then go for it. But that doesn't mean I have to agree with it or think it's right.
And for the millionth time, I see NOTHING wrong with a casual one night hook up. Big difference between these 2 things.

And WHY do you think this is not right??? Is there some kind of rule she's violating? Do you recall the expression "death do us part"? She's not being unfaithful, for cripes sake.

I remember your story from the old board. I'm sorry for the loss of your husband, but happy that you are happy. Given the circumstances I think that it is not unreasonable to want a solid, loving relationship as soon as you can achieve one.
How you choose to handle your grief is completely your business. I didn't see this ashperson's post, but if you are ready to date then you are ready to date. End of story. Why is it anyone's business but yours? That's right, its not. You are the only one that can decide what is right for you.
People will judge you no matter what you do, but as long as you are happy with where you are at then fuck'em.

I am absolutely DYING at "get a filter!! You shouldn't open your mouth!" when the second someone comes on here with an opinion that isn't the norm or a situation that is flameful, you all attack like wild hyenas. MY GOD!! Don't you people have filters?!?!!? I guess regulars just aren't held to the same standard as everyone else...

We just flame dummies, DBGCW--not those with an opinion that differs from ours.

I think the universal standard is not to be a raging queef demon about situations you admit to having no knowledge about. If you can't meet that standard, don't blame it on being a newbie, blame it on your lack of interpersonal skills.
