I've placed four orders over the course of the weekend, and I think I'm done. I'm excited to get four orders' worth of samples; not as excited about four of those stupid lip totes. If there weren't lips on them, I might actually like and use them. Oh well.

Here's my haul. First, the less fun necessities:

Dior Hydra Life BB Cream - I was debating between Dior and Peter Thomas Roth, then narrowed it down to either this or Diorskin, but my color of Diorskin is sold out on line, so this won. I may stop in the store tomorrow and pick up a tube (if it's in stock) to see which I like better.

Smashbox primer - I like Hourglass a little better now, but I like to have both on hand.

Amazing Cosmetics Amazing Concealer - the best I've tried yet. The coverage is as good as the UD pencils, but this is more moisturizing.

Diorshow Lash Serum and Tarte MultiplEYE lash primers. I've been using Tarte for some time, but want to start checking out some other brands to see if there's anything better out there. This is my first one, based on KaraOrNot's recommendation (thanks!). And I got another Tarte as a backup because I'm completely out.

Living Proof Nourishing Styling Cream. This is fantastic for curl definition without being crunchy or too heavy.

And a few fun things:

Sephora Collection Mini Ultra Shine Lip Gloss Set. I'm telling myself this will be an add-on gift for someone at Christmas, but deep down I know that won't happen.

Bliss Mistletoe Must-Haves. If I like this, I'll get a few more as add-on gifts. I can't gift something without knowing if it's good! lol.




Laura Mercier Luxe Stickgloss Collection. These are definitely not gifts. All mine.

And who knows what I'll encounter when I stop in the store tomorrow. But hopefully the damage will be minimal.

This is the one thing I bought in-store because I couldn't find great swatches online.  None were sparkly once applied, and the colors are gorgeous. You'll have to tell me what you think when your arrives!

ijack I seriously need go learn how to do the pretty photos! I've heard great things about that foundation. I'm loving dolce and gabbana foundation. It just lasts on me.

I got bumble and bumble shampoo/conditioner. My stuff is just not working for me right now.

Um... I placed two more orders. Diorskin is back in stock! Plus I realized I was low on Plantscription serum. So I ordered both, plus got a few polishes (that I probably won't even use until next summer) to get me to $50 after the VIB discount.

A replacement 24oz bottle of Purity Made Simple face wash, Rosebud Salve in a tube, a $12 kit from Bliss that has a chapstick and mini hand lotion.

I had plans to buy my favorite Lorac tinted moisturizer, only to find that it's been discontinued. I went to the Lorac website and found it in their sale section for $15. I bought 4 tubes. It used to be about $34, so a real steal. I'm so sad it's been discontinued, though. I wear it daily in the fall/winter/spring months.

And yes important decision - do I need naked 3?

I think yes for more pretty neutrals. For pretty color, I'm obsessed with the UD Vice 2 palette. It's amazing!

I guess it just seems heavy on the pinks, which I generally shy away from. I don't know why I'm questioning really, I'm probably going to end up with it huh?

Update - my status on the website now says Rouge. I haven't gotten an email about it, though, and customer service never replied to my email from the other day. I'm guessing they're overwhelmed with F&F orders but are straightening stuff out as they can.

I placed my order on Monday and it didn't get sent out for delivery until Friday. That's never happened before! I only got Nars TM and mascara. Maybe they delayed me because I was so lame?

AND! I didn't spend enough to make VIB for next year and I'm not even close. I blame all the burberry I've been buying instead.

Mine have taken a long time to ship too. I placed two orders on Monday and they still haven't arrived. One should be here today, and one won't be here until tomorrow. It seems like they were overloaded - long ship times, statuses not updating for days, etc. Weird.
