The only time I ever ate Taco Bell in my life I ordered the thing with the soft tortilla on the outside, then cheese, then hard taco, then the fillings.
I spent nearly an hour shitting myself stupid in a borders bookstore and vowed to never eat TB ever again.
But holy shite was that thing delicious.
The cheesy gordita crunch. That was my go to hangover food in college. They took it off the menu my senior year and I cried in the drive thru at Taco Bell in front of the high school kid who worked there. It was my most pathetic moment.
Fortunately they have it back and it is my go to order. I get the meal with the taco, a diet Pepsi, and then an order of chips and cheese or cinnamon twists. I actually would get both while pregnant. Lol

I also have a soft spot in my heart for the pinto beans and cheese.
When I was in HS I was part of a taste test group for the gordita before it came on the market. After we at it we had to rate different aspects of it, say how much we would pay for it, and then choose a name.
Chicken chimichanga (that's the one folded in half and sliced like a pizza, right?) or Mexican pizza Two tacos supreme (one hard, one soft) Cherry limeade Caramel apple empanada.
All of our taco bells here are Taco Bell/KFC combos. I have never really heard of this 'chips and cheese' business at a Taco Bell, I'm not even sure we have this. Maybe this is a canadian thing? Anyways, it's fries with nacho cheese, beef, onion and tomato. It's delish!
Nachos Bell Grande and 1 or 2 bean and cheese burritos, depending on how hungry I am.
I love taco bell. I only eat it a couple times a year these days.
didn't they used to have an even bigger version of this? with extra special crap and maybe some spicy things? i have a vague memory of punishing something like that and being sad when it wasn't available.
I remember it being way bigger when I was a kid. Like it came in a box and was smothered in cheese, meat, green onions, tomatoes, sauce and sour cream.
It depends on how hungry I am, but usually some combo of: Chicken quesadilla Beef chalupa supreme Meximelt Nacho supreme, no beans Soft taco supreme Crunchwrap supreme Cheesy fiesta potatoes Cinnamon twists
There was a Taco Bell on campus in college between the dorm I was in and DH's dorm. We ate there WAAAY to much.
Hmm, I don't think I've been there in probably 15 years but I guess I would get bean burritos, and maybe those cinnamon things. I loved those as a kid!
I haven't been there in years, but assuming the menu has not changed: nachos bell grande with beans instead of meat and fire sauce. Lots of fire sauce.
I don't do Taco Bell, though. I do Taco Bueno. And if I'm feeling really bad, I'll get the mexi dips and chips and a beef potato burrito instead of the tacos.

Too fancy for the bell, eh?
I wouldn't exactly call Taco Bueno "fancy" lol lol. I just prefer it over TB.
