Anyone give up anything?

I finally stopped watching SVU. I didn't like the season ender and I hear this season's opener wasn't much better. I've got them DVRed but I'm ready to delete without watching.

HIMYM. I just can't bring myself to care anymore.

The Mentalist. With football constantly pushing it late, my DVR wasn't recording all of it. I found I just didn't care and would delete without watching whatever was recorded.

I'm VERY tempted to just quit HIMYM, but I feel like I've invested too much to stop now. Just gotta hang in there until May (when I'll inevitably be disappointed at its terrible series finale).

Family Guy isn't funny anymore so I've stopped watching.

I finished out Master Chef last season, and watched a little of the Juniors competition but I just don't care anymore. We also used to DVR episodes of Duck Dynasty just to have something to watch, but not anymore.

We're so pissed about Always Sunny and The League switching to that FXX channel that we've made no attempt whatsoever to try and see the new episodes. Even when we go to our friends' house and they have them DVRed and offer to watch with us since we don't have that channel.

You should start watching again.  We finally find out who red john is.  No really, not like the last time.  I think it is gonna be a 2 part episode, next week and the week after.

I'm *thisclose* to dropping The Mindy Project. I think if we don't watch it live, I'm not going to bother any more.
We started watching Sleepy Hollow, but then after 2 or 3 episodes, I couldn't decide if I thought it was stupid-fun or just stupid, and I never went back to figure it out.

I quit Once Upon a Time. I'm debating quitting New Girl and The Mindy Project. I quit NCIS midway through last season but watched Ziva's final episode and it made me glad I quit.

I'm ready for Greys Anatomy to end so I don't have to quit but I'm almost ready to quit it.

We stopped Revenge - the concept was good, but they were just dragging it out so much. It would have made a fantastic mini-series.

I've dropped New Girl, and I tried but quit: The Crazy Ones, Sleepy Hollow (I was hoping it would be suspenseful and a little creepy, but it's too much straight horror for me), and the Michael J. Fox Show.

I am behind on many, many shows. My DVR can't keep up!

We watched one episode of the Michael J. Fox show and weren't compelled to continue, which was too bad because I like him. We gave up on New Girl without even watching a single episode - we had like 4 or 5 episodes piled up on the DVR and both realized we had zero desire to watch it.

And I'm ready to ditch HIMYM again until the last few episodes. We didn't watch most of last season because it was so painful. We're only watching this season because it's the last one, but I don't know if I can force myself to get through it. It's just so bad.

I'm so bummed people are giving up on revenge and new girl. I still love them. The only one we haven't kept up with is himym. I'm sure we will catch up we are too invested at this point but we are gathering episodes.

New Girl. I still think it's funny when I happen to catch an episode but I can't stand it when main characters get together so I gave up as soon as that happened.

I tried and gave up Sleepy Hollow. It could have been so good. That's been my biggest disappointment of the new t.v. season.

I'm also only sort of watching the Crazy Ones. BBT and 2 Broke Girls are probably the next to go.

But I will never give up HIMYM. NEVER! I still love it.

I gave up on Once Upon a Time this season.

Lately I've found myself wishing that many shows were more extended miniseries or something so there would be an end in sight and they would have to get to it and explain and wrap stuff up.

I gave up Modern Family. I am close on HIMYM it is terrible. I gave up SVU last year too. I gave up on Revenge last season but caved and binge watched it all on Netflix so it is back on the DVR. Same thing with grey's, I always catch up over the summer when there is nothing on.

I did pick up Scandal recently and am excited about being caught up live.

Overall I feel I have far less to watch than I used to.

I'm close on Revenge, it is just so soapy and getting pretty stale. I wish it had an end date to move towards.

I don't like to hear that people are giving up on The Mindy Project. I love that show! I hate that New Girl stinks and I think it's killing the lead in for Mindy. So, we've given up on New Girl and Modern Family, for the most part. If we're bored and they're on demand, we may tune in, but they're off the DVR schedule.

I gave up drop dead diva. Conflicts with too many shows and just not that good. It's summer good but can't compete with fall line up.
