Ummm, my dog is dumb. She knows how to help get her harness on and off. She'll stick her head through the hole and then lift up her left paw, then right paw, for you to put her legs through the holes. She recognizes the word 'walk' and howls, which is so damn adorable. This is really all I've got. It's a good thing she's cute.
There was a point where she kept getting the bread off the very high counter. I still have yet to figure out how the hell she was managing that. She's only 20 pounds. I like to think she and our other guy were in on it together and he would stand at the base of the cabinets and she could climb on his back to reach the bread. This is just a theory.
LOL. Yeah. Mine doesn't understand stairs. But I love him so.
Mine either!
We have to carry her upstairs each night and downstairs each morning. She will literally stand at the top of the stairs and cry until we come get her.
No amount of coaxing will convince her to at least attempt to walk down them herself.
My last place had three stairs down to the yard. I had to carry him up and down. He would stand there and paw at the edge like he wanted to jump down but was too scared.

I have a litter box that sits right next to the door leading out into the garage. The pet food is in the garage. In the mornings, when I am gathering up all of the bowls, Darwin runs into the litter box and makes a big deal scratching around and pretending like he's busy peeing and pooping. He really gets dramatic with it. As soon as I open the door to the garage he bolts out of the litter box and into the garage.

Our dog slipped out our fence one day and went to visit SOs parents while we were at work. They live the next suburb over and he would have had to go through a drain, under a bridge and across a main road to get there.
The amazing thing is that SO has walked him over there ONCE and it was at least two years before this.
My parents chihuahua that passed away about two years ago, and was also my baby to, used to play fetch incessantly every day for years. One day, she kept going to the laundry room to whine and pace. My parents went in there several times and had no idea why she was whining. Finally my dad looked under the wardrobe and found one of her tennis balls that had been missing for two weeks. The little devil knew exactly where it was.
Gross but true: our older cat, Gus, prefers to pee over the bathtub drain instead of in the litter box if he's forced to be inside for long periods of time.
(They generally go outside to use the bathroom, the box is for overnight or when we're oot)

One of my cats likes to get into one of our lower kitchen drawers and the higher cabinets. It always scares the crap out of me when I go to get a cup or a trash bag, open the door/drawer and there's Bobo looking at me. Bobo's also an insanely jealous cat. If I start petting the other cat in front of him, he'll come over and whack the other cat on the head.
My dogs know exactly when it is 5 pm so they can eat. They'll be laying on the ground, I'm watching tv, doing nothing different. Then 5 pm hits, and I've got 2 dogs sniffing my face, or hitting my arm with a nose, or laying a head on my lap, etc.
Murphy the golden retriever is wicked smart. He can fetch, sit, roll over, play dead dog, and give high fives. He only barks on command. We also sent him to bird dog school for a month when he was a puppy so we could take him bird hunting if we wanted. He also the most compassionate dog. If I'm sad and crying, he comes over to me and lays his head on my lap or gives me a hug.
Mandy the terrier is evil. She will push Murphy away from his food and eat his. I have to feed them while watching. Also, she always wants whatever toy Murphy is playing with, even if she has her own. If they are both chewing on bones, she will drop hers and steal Murphy's. I'll hand the one she dropped to Murphy so he can have a bone. Then she'll wait five minutes and do it all over again.
My work dog just knows when I need snuggles. He'll come over and paw at my leg until I pick him up and put him on my desk. Then he'll just lay there and let me pet him all day if needbe. He's the best.
