Yeah, it's not the supporting cast that bothers me. In fact, I like the tall thin assistant guy. I think that what bugs me is that Robin Williams' "eccentricity" feels a little forced, but maybe the show will settle in to a good groove eventually.
When RW is allowed to unleash, he is hilarious. The problem is that he can't unleash in a 22-minute show or else the show would have no plot and no one else could get a word in edgewise. So instead, we get these random bursts of energy that immediately simmer down and kill the momentum because he has to behave like someone who could actually run a business.
