Stockings for H and me, too. H is starting to gravitate away from my thoughts of stocking stuffers, though, and is just putting in things that fit into it size-wise. No, H, they are for small dollar amounts, too.
Follow up-is it weird to have stockings when your house doesn't have a fireplace?
No, but it makes me sad we don't have a fire place this year. I guess we'll just put them on the the tv stand.
This is so tacky, but I want an electric fireplace.
eta: wait. I just realized that J is going to want to grab at the stockings. So I have no idea where we'll put them so they'll be out of her reach. Ugh.
We were in between homes when DD was 18 months and had no fireplace in our apartment. I hung the stockings on the wall so she couldn't grab them. LOL
We have them, even for the cats. The baby will get her own this year, also, of course. No fireplace, and we just moved to a new place, so I'm not sure where we're hanging them yet.

There are some really nice electric fireplaces! They aren't all cheesy. I sometimes wish our gas was electric that way I can have the "flames" going without the heat because most of the time it's not cold enough in the house but I want the cozy ambiance.
It's just me and DH. We both have our old ones from when we were little, but this year, since we're going to be by ourselves for the holidays, we are going to get matching ones. (He's so thrilled about this LOL!)
We didn't have a fireplace growing up. St. Nick (not Santa) filled our stockings and left them on the kitchen table. (They were pretty big and heavy, so even if we had a fire place, this likely would have happened). My Mom hung them on the stair case when not filled.

"I was thinking about getting off on demand, but it sounds like I should be glad that I didn't"
We have them too! I got ones w our initials on them.
Jake and I used to have a tradition, that I'd like to reinstate, of spending $10 at the dollar store to fill each other's. It was a lot of fun! Maybe we'll do that again this year.
There are no stockings hung with care at my home. I used to have them when the kids were at home but since they've all moved on, I just did away with them. I'm not a Scrooge. I love Christmas, I just don't like stockings.
We always had stockings growing up and they were filled with a gigantic candy cane, other Christmas candy, nuts, and fruit.
