Here's my asshole moment; if I received that message and it was spelled correctly, I would probably lower the dollar amount for her. The way that e-mail sits? No.
Outta. There prices. Caust.
No.
You're an idiot. Wtf does her spelling have to do with the pricing?
Hence the "here's my asshole moment". As I noted, my yard sale group is largely communicated via cell phone messages, where it is just a lack of care on their part of how they come across. It is off putting. I also noted that the bigger issue in saying no would have been her comments about mark ups and pretty much chastising TOTS over it instead of a simple haggle, because the rest of the message was rather polite with miss and thanks.
I, personally, would never send someone a message like that. And I would be a bit appalled if I received a message like that because I was taught that when you deal with other people, in any type of business or transaction situation, you conduct yourself in a higher manner than what you would with a friend in an e-mail (or text message).
Dick move? Yes. But I'd never actually reply rudely or correct someone because I don't personally know their background and it is my own hang up.

There's a gal on our local FB swap board who's always offering a third of asking price for things. Drives me nuts. You can almost hear people's sighs as they reply, "No, Claudia. I won't accept that offer."

NOW is when you just reply with grammatical corrections. lol.
LOL If she hadn't blocked me, I probably would. Oh well, I'll take my shirts made of gold elsewhere! *slams door and flops on the bed sobbing from the injustice of it all*
I've had this happen a couple of times on Craigslist. Offering me half price on something I just listed an hour ago. I tell them no. Then they tell me how poor they are and can't afford my price. I still tell them no. Then they proceed to tell me that I'm asking a crazy amount of money and how dare I ask that in this economy!!!!! This was for a lawn mower and a tool set that I sold within a couple of days for almost full price anyway.
Well if I would just get my ridiculously high prices, it will alllll be worth it. Make it rain, muthafuckas.
Don't spend all $45 in one place. Spread the love around, you earned it.
Perhaps I'll ask for it all in singles so that I can more easily spread the love Oprah style. "You get a dollar! And you get a dollar! You get a dollar!"
I am far too lazy to sell my stuff online, I just donate it. My brother in law can sell anything online and always gets a good price for it, I don't know where he finds the time or patience.
