My house is 101 years old. It is on the block I grew up on, so I know of at least 2 people that died in it. I am sure there are more.
eta: It doesn't bother me at all. I knew the people who passed, and they both lived long, happy lives. I might feel differently if there was a murder or something, but I doubt it. I love my house.

Our house is somewhat old and has a really creepy attic/storage room that seriously looks like something out of a horror movie. I would not be surprised if someone died in our house, and I actually got excited when I started reading this and saw there is a website where you can look it up. But then I saw that you have to pay, so I guess I'll never know. Oh well.

That turned me off, too, at first but it's only 12 bucks. I might do it. Then again, I'd be pissed if I paid (even the measly 12 bucks) and found nothing interesting.

Exactly.
And even if it's only a couple bucks, I pretty much don't do anything if it's not free. lol
No, but when we were looking we were very open to the idea of buying a house someone had died in. We found a few houses that were priced pretty low and affectionately referred to them as "murder houses" or "haunted houses". We're both pretty comfortable with the supernatural and figured we'd give it a shot.

I don't know, but our house was built in the 1940s so I think it's possible. It was a question I asked when we bought the house, but sellers only have to disclose violent deaths here.
