I'm surprised they predict Nashville will be cancelled. I'm watching it for the first time this season, and I really like it. Everything else I'm good with being cancelled.

There has been a lot of production drama since the beginning and there is a huge, expensive cast. I'll miss it but I wouldn't be shocked if they pulled it.

Bones is predicted to be renewed? Good lord, that show needs to die - it is a shell of its former great self. Problem is, if they don't finally cancel it, I'll still keep watching out of habit. Please put me out of my misery, Fox.
The Good Wife - I am very surprised this is predicted to be cancelled. This show has gotten better each year (imo) and was good to start.
Greys - Has GOT TO GO. I loved it for years but am very over it. They lost me with Dr McSteamy.
Nashville - I would also be surprised if this were cancelled.
Parenthood - Would not surprise me. Another one I always loved but it has gone downhill this year.
Wait The Good Wife?! I didn't even see that. This show is phenomenal. Maybe the freaken ratings would be better if it came on at a regular time instead of always getting pushed back.

YES!! I completely agree. I wish it would get changed to a different day of the week so it would stop being an issue. If it weren't for Comcast On Demand, I would have much of last season and this season. My DVR does not automatically adjust to the new time each week.

I like TV Line's renewal scorecard more and I think it's a bit more reliable. It has Mindy Project, Brooklyn 9-1-1 and Good Wife as safe bets, and Trophy Wife and Nashville as too early to tell. Bones is listed as could go either way, but I don't think you can predict iton ratings just yet because it's moving to Fridays this week. I think how they do there will really determine their fate.

This reminded me that I stopped DVRing The Mentalist because it never recorded properly. So I went and googled Who is Red John. Turns out we still don't know. I say good riddance mentalist.

Ok people, who is still watching new episodes of The Simpsons? Who is it? Come out of hiding. I won't judge.
Of the cancellations predicted, I watch and am sad about: Nashville The Mindy Project (getting funnier each week!) Parenthood (boring, but I still appreciate the realness)
I like The Goldbergs, but won't be sad if it's gone. And I watch Trophy Wife on demand if I'm bored and need something on while I do chores, lol.
I've been watching Sleepy Hollow and can't decide if it's funny/scary stupid, or just stupid. Ichibad Crane is nice to look at though, even in that get-up he's still sporting around.

So when a new show is picked up for a full season do they only film so many episodes and then start filming again to finish out the season? Anyone know how that works? Just curious.

I don't watch it religiously, but I usually watch the first segment of The Simpsons to see if it's any good. Al Jean sucks - a lot of the writers just don't understand what made the Simpsons great back in the day. Bob's Burgers is hilarious - but this season has been clunky.
I can't believe New Girl would be picked up over Mindy Project. And I'm really enjoying Brookyn 99.

IDK exactly. For a new show, they shoot the pilot plus maybe a couple of episodes. For ex: The Playboy Club shot 4 episodes, but only aired 3 before it was cancelled, so the 4th was a bust. Some shows are picked up for 13 episodes before they even air, and if they are picked up, I think then they finish out the season at that point.
I'm sad Sean Saves the World may go and that Welcome to the Family is already gone. And I didn't even realize Community was still on. Not the best show, IMO. There are better shows that have been cancelled.

Sundays episode is that he narrowed it down to 7 people and had then hold up in a room with a gun. He knows RJ has a specific tatoo. He made all 7 take their shirt off. 3 had the same matching tatoo that is part of a secret org. I think we find out next episode. The room blew up last week with all 7 of them and Jane in it so we shall see
