Weekend Plans!

I know it's only Thursday but my weekend starts a wee-bit early this week! We are road-tripping up to Chicago tomorrow for a family wedding and visiting an old friend of ours from the Navy.

Then on Sunday I am flying from Chicago to San Diego with my family. It's my grandpa's 90th birthday/family reunion type thing (and I will get to see my brother & SIL). My dad rented a beach house for the week. I am so excited to be there for 4th of July! ;D

When I come back next Sunday I start orientation the following week at my new job at Enterprise (finally).

What are your exciting plans for the weekend?

I want to overhaul our home office. It's a wreck. There's fabric and notions everywhere, various video game parts, H's study materials, and the carpet needs to be thoroughly cleaned because our puppy was sick and started using one spot as his potty for a few days. I spot cleaned it every time there was a mess, but I don't feel like it's really clean.

More unpacking and organizing. So glad the move is over!

ALSO, I will probably start doing a little shopping for the baby. I haven't bought a single thing because I wanted to wait so as to avoid having to bring more stuff in the move. We have mostly everything we need, and people have been showering us with gifts of clothes, blankets, etc. But, I think I want to get her a Rock-n-Play and buy some fabric for some projects I would like to make.

I also want to finish up planning a couple of trips up north to Mackinac, Traverse City, etc for J, Isaac and I to go on after he joins us here in Michigan/before he leaves.

Mine are similar to Mel's. My office is a disaster zone and I have girlfriends coming to visit the weekend after the 4th so I have to get it cleaned up. Other than that we have tickets to Music Circus to see Grease on Saturday night so I'm excited!

He's got to drive two hours to get my car to the dealership for maintenance, then when he gets back, I'm making him shampoo the carpet in the basement. Wait... it's Thursday?!?! All day long, I've been thinking that it's Friday! WTF? Someone find me something to do before I completely lose it!

As for this weekend. IDK... Nothing special. Probably hide in my house while the heat attacks. I think that I need to make another trip to the Library.

It's already Friday here!! I need to get my ration card today so I can check out the PX and Commissary and buy some snacks for the hotel room. Hopefully we have a house by next week. We're going to explore Seoul this weekend and try to figure out the subway system.

My family is flying into visit tonight. I am excited to see them! We may take a trip up to Glacier this weekend but no definite plans. Next weekend we are going up to Calgary to see the sights!

Well, getting a new laptop. Little boy just dumped an entire glass of water on the computer. This will be computer # 3 this year. Thankfully, the last time we replaced it, we got a warranty, so this next one will be on the house.

Going to the beach this weekend. Its HOT.

There's a big parade on Sunday which ends with a movie on the beach. Theoretically it's to honor mil veterans and families, but I'll just go b/c it's walking distance and something to do.

Tomorrow night is salsa dancing.

That's it so far. I've been trying to go swimming at the beach every weekend, so that might happen. I also have tentative plans to go snorkeling.
