I already am freaking about a girl having body image issues and am committing myself to be a better role model (of course I realize boys can have them too but I am more familiar with the female variety).
I've been feeling that way too! I'm like, is this girl gonna worrying about feeling fat her whole life? And wouldn't it be nice if she had a fit mom? Is it even possible for me to *be* a fit mom?

But congrats!
If it's any consolation, maybe my third thought after finding out we're having a boy was, "crap, now we have to decide whether to circ or not." So the grass is always greener and all that.
Girls are awesome! You cand be a fit, smart, accomplished, wonderful mom. And your daughter deserves a mom who is happy and healthy. Yay girls and our daughters dealing with less issues than we did/do.
