what type of thread/needle with outdoor canvas?

Sorry for all the questions!

I'm assuming i need a denim needle for this type of fabric.

Any special thread?

I'd go with a 90/14 needle or heavier. Denim, or leather if the material you're using has any kind of coating on it.

Nylon or polyester thread. Nylon tends to be more for things that live outside, or need a lot of strength (like boat sails). For an indoor cushion you should be able to get away with polyester.
